The Mid Atlantics essays The Mid-Atlantic region is a part of the United States of America and is located near the Atlantic Ocean in the North Eastern part of the U.S. in the Middle Eastern part of North America. The history of the region goes back to the beginning of the United States. It was one of the original thirteen colonies. And in winning the civil war, this region however was one of the main areas that still contained a lot of loyalists to England however. But eventually either came around or just never spoke of there continued allegiance. The celebrations and feasts of the region are New Years in New York.
